OnePlus gained headlines when it introduced its first smartphone in 2014 for a couple of reasons. First, the OnePlus One delivered flagship specifications for significantly less price than the devices it was pitched against. Secondly, the manufacturer has made the “flagship killer” smartphone desirable by introducing an invite that consequently made the OnePlus One harder to get the grip of than other smartphones.
We’re expecting the same basic combination of price and execution from the OnePlus3, has obviously set up to meet the high standards set by the Samsung Galaxy S7, HTC 10 and others. Renders of the cell appear to show few changes from the OnePlus 2 on the front, but the back appears to sport a same design to the HTC One M9.
According to the rumors, though, the OnePlus Three is shaping up to be something pretty special, with a new metal body, a big battery, and plenty of pulling power in the processor and RAM department. OnePlus Company has hinted at possible four variants of the OnePlus 3. The four options include – 4GB RAM to 32GB storage, 4GB RAM to 64GB storage, 6GB RAM to 32GB storage, and 6GB RAM to 64GB storage. The prices of the four variants pegged are roughly Rs 23,500, roughly Rs. 25,500, roughly Rs. 27,500 and roughly Rs. 28, 600 respectively.
Both the OnePlus One and the OnePlus2 offer 5.5inch displays, both of which have a 1920×1080 resolution for a pixel density of 441ppi. We’d expect a similar size for the OnePlus3 although it has been claimed the OnePlus 3 could come in three diff screen sizes comprising a 5-inch model, 5.2-inches model, and a 5.5-inches model after all three have leaked in benchmarks. If this is true, it means that the OnePlus3 will cross into OnePlusX territory, which seems like an unlikely move.
Many of the leaked specifications all suggest we will see a Full HD resolution, which doesn’t come as a huge surprise, whereas competitors are opting for QuadHD.
The OnePlus 2 offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 0.2-second autofocus and optical image stabilization. The front-facing camera is 5-megapixels. It did not operate as well as the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S6 when we reviewed it, but the OnePlus2’s camera does a sterling job when it comes to image quality, meaning OnePlus is already on the right way with its cameras. OnePlus 3 would come with a 15-megapixel rear camera capable of 4K HD video recording and a seven mp front camera, capable of Full HD video recording. The rear camera is also thought to have autofocus with face detection, HDR, and touch focus.
OnePlus has officially announced the launch and release date of the OnePlus3. The VR launch event will take place at 12.30pm ET on June 14. During the first two hours of the event, the device will be sold Loop VR app. Although, it is also expected to launch on Amazon.in.
It’s a fact that many people are waiting curiously for this phone to show up in the market. Hoping For Good.
